These Terms of use (“Terms”) explain how you may access and use the MyMatches website and related services (“MyMatches”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using MyMatches you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Who can use MyMatches
You may use MyMatches only if:
- you are at least 18 years old; and
- you have the legal capacity to enter into a contract in your country; and
- you are not prohibited from using similar services under any applicable laws.
2. Your account and responsibilities
When you create an account, you agree to:
- provide accurate information and keep it up to date;
- keep your login details secure and confidential; and
- be responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, please change your password and contact us via the Contact page.
3. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not:
- use MyMatches for any illegal, harmful or abusive purpose;
- harass, threaten, impersonate or otherwise harm other users;
- upload content that is unlawful, hateful, explicit, misleading or spam; or
- attempt to interfere with the security, integrity or availability of the service.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that we reasonably believe breach these rules or applicable law.
4. Content you share
You retain ownership of the photos, text and other content you share on MyMatches. By posting content, you grant us a limited licence to store, display and process that content as needed to operate the service.
You confirm that you have the right to share any content you upload and that it does not infringe another person’s rights.
5. Our service
MyMatches is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or always available. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyMatches and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, reputation or profits arising out of your use of the service.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability where it cannot be limited under applicable law.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information. By using MyMatches you also agree to our Privacy policy.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If changes are significant, we may also notify you by email or via the app. Your continued use of MyMatches after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
